Farr Property Services, Inc. specializes in farmland, recreational properties, rural homes and small community homes. Broker Steve Farr is joined by salesperson Tracy Meredith in offering both seller's agent and buyer's agent services to real estate clients. While dual agency (representing both the buyer and seller in the same transaction) is legal in Illinois, it is our office policy for an agent to only represent the buyer or the seller in a transaction, not both. We feel there is an inherent conflict of interest in dual agency and that a single person cannot represent the best interests of both parties in the same real estate transaction.

Farr Property Services, Inc. is the only local real estate office offering "Talking House" radio transmitters. We record short informational messages about our listed properties and install an FM radio transmitter at the listed property to broadcast the message giving potential buyers information about the property 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We literally market our client's properties 24/7. No other local real estate office has this unique service for it's clients and customers.

In addition, our office and agents are members of the Lamoine Valley Board of Realtors and it's Multiple Listing Service, the Illinois Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. As members, we strive to adhere to each organization's Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. Steve is a past president of the Lamoine Valley Board of Realtors and past president of the the board's Multiple Listing Service.
